Holiday with terns abroad recommended please

Hi all
We are undecided as to.what to do this year so looking for inspiration. Last year we did canaries all inclusive..really nice but sunbed wars as everyone wants to get their moneys worth
In the past we have hired a car and.done self catering which we enjoyed as had the freedom of where to go and where to eat.
Can anyone give any recommendation for no more than a 5 hour flight, in a good area which has plenty to do for teens, excursions etc and if all inclusive, then somewhere that allocates you a sunbed?

Lake Constance. I can’t recommend a particular town as I’ve not been for 20 years but we’re staying in Friedrichshafen for 3 days in August. There’s lots of outdoorsy things to do, boat trips and the lake beach.
