Malta in the summer holidays

Can anyone recommend places to stay and things to do for 5 nights? We have booked cheap flights for a few days. Have a 9 and 12 year old. TIA

Valletta for 2 nights, get the fast boat over to Gozo for 2 nights. It's amazing, might be v hot in the summer.

Agree with previous poster, split it between Valletta and Gozo!
Also iirc they drive on the same side of the road as us, so could hire a car. Malta is small and we managed to cover lots of it, there's some really nice beaches. Miracle Beach was great.
