Costa Brava recommendations - pretty, by the sea. Cadaques?

Anyone stayed anywhere lovely? I did some brief research which brought up Begur, Cadaques,Calella etc. Car needed? Basically we'd like to be close to the beach, sea views, nice places to eat nearby without driving.

It was a long time ago, but I loved Tossa de Mar.

Cadaques is really lovely. Admittedly I only spent two nights there but I could happily have stayed longer. Definitely some nice places to eat.

Tossa is really lovely. Stony beach but so beautiful.

Cadaqués is one of my favourite places. Parking is almost non existent do if you're driving. Get a hotel with parking same for Calella p but both so lovely

Begur is also a good base, access to loads of day trips and beautiful bays around there. Lovely town with good restaurants.

Cadaqués is absolutely stunning; one of my favourite places I've ever been on holiday. It feels so authentic.
