Remote holiday homes/cottages etc

Morning, I'm planning to book a holiday for my OH birthday

I'm looking for any recommendations for remote holiday lets. Needs to be suitable for family of 5 (3 young kids) and 1 dog.

Only other requirements are there is a hot tub and the property is secluded/ on its own.

Budget around £2k for a week

I'm feeling the pressure as my OH booked a fabulous place for my birthday last year 😁

Has anyone been to anything or know of anything that fits the bill?

Iv been looking at thousands of properties but most of them have neighbouring properties

Where abouts and what time of year?

Where? When? Some people would drive for ten hours, some would only drive for two. Also when is the birthday? The time of year makes a difference. Need more info!

We have stayed pretty remotely on the Douglas and Angus Estate in Scotland. Lovely properties but not sure about hot tubs.

Similarly the Duchy of Lancaster properties are superb. As are the Chatsworth ones. Not so sure about Hot Tubs though.

It's for October and I don't mind where, long commute etc.

You can get cheap flights to knock or get the ferry

Oh Ireland is a shout, I hadn't considered there. Although would need to be the ferry as we have a dog

We stayed in a lovely place on an estate near Berwick.

It was called Gardeners Cottage - lovely big place, big hot tub. Horses for neighbours

I'm t was in Dunbar but they only have short breaks left in October sadly
