Eurocamp swimwear

Hi all, We’re finally taking our little one away tomorrow for her first abroad holiday to Eurocamp in France. My hubby has bought speedos due to the no shorts rule in the swimming pools. I believe it’s due to water waste etc.
Im currently packing and it occurred to me that one of my suits is a swim dress with a long skirt. Anyone know what the rules are on swim dresses? 👗

I don’t think this is a Eurocamp specific rule as such (I went on lots of Eurocamp holidays as a child) but a general French and Italian rule / social etiquette. If it’s not clear from the Eurocamp information I would google the specific camp site and see if their website as any information or you could enquire with Eurocamp and see if they can advise. If not, just take it as I don’t think there are as many restrictions on what women wear.

You’ll be fine in a swim dress. Not all sites enforce the rules re board shorts, it tends to be stricter at the sites with a higher proportion of French guests.
For those that do, it’s to stop people wear in the same shorts away from
the pool so then bring in sand, dirt etc. That wouldn’t apply to a costume with a skirt on it.
