Disney Paris October half term

How bad will it be in terms of queues/absolute madness?
Is it going to be hideous even with a fast pass?

Would love to go for the Halloween celebrations but not so much that I want to spend the whole time queueing with an impatient 5yo.

Especially as flights/hotel/tickets for 3 nights/days is approx 3.2k for the 3 of us!

I went a whole ago but I think it was my dcs favourite time that they went. They go all out with the decorations and had a villains parade

Hope you don’t mind me crashing this thread! We’ve just booked a trip to Disneyland Paris for half term.
I’ve heard that visitors — including adults — dress up on the 31st, but I was wondering if anyone has first-hand experience of what it’s actually like in the park on Halloween?
Is dressing up something lots of people take part in? We’d love to join in the fun but don’t want to be the only ones in costume!

We went October half-term, it was 27th/28th in 2022. Parks were busy but we got round near enough all the a rides without paying for any fast passes. Definitely possible tomdo.lots. I feel like we probably only missed Dumbo, Orbitron and the cars Rally ride in the studios. We had a day 2 day/1 night package so had early entry on both our park days, that really helps getting the rides done. I would guess the 5 year old will likely be too small for a few of the big rides anyway, definitely Indiana Jones (1.40m) but presumably also Hyperspace Mountain and Avengers assemble (both 1.20m), which will save some queuing time. These are all rollercoasters with inversions. Also RC racer is 1.2m. The second time we went I paid for reserved viewing for the nightshow on the castle, that was worth every penny if your 5 year old can last that late, otherwise on our first trip I found my view blocked by people literally everywhere, kids on shoulders etc etc.

I’ve just got back Friday gone and it was RAMMED. So I can only imagine it will get worse in October half term. The decorations when you walk in are lovely, there’s an extra parade on during the day it’s more of an autumn parade.
but their are extra characters walking around. Malificent, Gaston, the ugly sisters. They had swarms of people following them 😂
