Inspiration needed!

Hi all, I'm looking for inspiration please and thank you!
We did florida/disney/universal this easter and the kids loved it. We have no plans for October half term and I wanted a theme park type trip as the kids loved it and (apparently) are thrill seekers. I'm not, but I loved the theming and the magic of the really well done parks. The kids are 10 and 7, much preffered Universal to disney because of the rides.
I can't decide between doing an easy trip to Paultons or venturing to Europe - quite liked the look of Phantasia or Europa park because of the theming. However their hotel stays seem expensive, also is there anywhere to visit alongside them that's a bit more cultural to make the flying abroad bit feel more worthwhile....
All ideas welcome! Only thinking 3 nights and on a budget as we splashed out on florida and have Bruges booked for Christmas.

Duinrell because it’s so close and won’t break the bank.

It's beautiful especially at Christmas and cheaper than europa park and more enchanting

Lake Garda for all the beautiful towns around the Lake and the bonus of Gardaland for the thrillseekers.

How about Port Aventura in Salou? It might be worth a look, depending on what your kids like to do and how tall they are! It's relatively cheap to stay nearby in Salou, which has a large range of hotels and apartments.

And it's easy to combine with either day trips or a couple of nights in Barcelona for a culture hit, it's only an hour or so away by train.
