Ryanair - question about car seats and I don't want to pay £1 a minute to find out the answer.

Grrr. Have to pay a £1 a minute to get to ask anyone at Ryanair a very simple question so I thought I would see if anyone here could enlighten me.

I am flying with Ryanair tomorrow to Italy with DH, my DD (who has a full fare seat) and baby DS (who is classed as an infant and will be sitting on my lap). We have booked to take two child seats with us as "infant equipment" and have paid £8 for each seat.

Does anyone know if the weight of these car seats will be included as part of our baggage allowance or whether we will each be able to each take out 15kg in addition to the car seats.

Have never booked car seat on when travelling with ryan air, they just take it with no fee, last time we flew with them was last June.

I believe that if you have paid as extra equipment the weight is not included. You can also take one pushchair to the gate per Infant for free. It is all in the T&C on their website although it is very long winded and not very logical!

Oh and beware, they were strict about not combining allowances of passengers. We had to take some out of one bag and put it in the other as one was too heavy and one too light

WE booked with them lat year and paid on the way out, and it wasn't included in the allownace.

You can always look up their number on the no to 0870 website.
