I think they only show up to a week ahead

MiddleAgedDread · 02/06/2025 11:38

Do you mean track it on something like flight radar? If so, why??

BrentfordForever · 02/06/2025 11:46

Yes how do you mean track?

or you just want to see your booking ?

You can look up the flight number on Flightradar 24, but it will only show you a week's history and the next day unless you have a paid membership.

As the flight approaches they fill in the registration number of the aircraft, which can be useful on the day because you can track the plane. For example, if it's coming in from Alicante and you can see that it took off an hour late, it will be at least 40 minutes late leaving (they can catch up some time but not all of an hour).

However, if you are concerned about it maybe being late, you really can't tell much until the day of the flight itself. Maybe if you have a very early flight you can check the evening before that the plane managed to get to your departure airport.

Also remember that if you are checking in luggage you still have to do that before the scheduled bag drop closure time, even if you can see the plane is likely to be late. (At least, that's what the rules say on every airline that I can remember checking, and I can imagine them being pretty strict about it.)
