Going away next week for 10 days and can only take limited toys with us. What would be your go to items for a 2 year old girl? Thanks

A cheap plastic tea set, one of those drawing boards from Amazon with the pen that are like a chalk board but better, a water magic book, books in general, reusable sticker books, handful of plastic animals, sorting/stacking game that’s travel size, my 2 year old loved the sensory tubes but the noise is fairly annoying!

What kind of holiday? AL med type?

Toys for around the pool/in bath toys.

Litttle things to play with at dinner.

A few things for the hotel room eg cuddly toys and mini doctors kit.

Thanks for the ideas, not going far, to Majorca. Going to look in Amazon and also small things to keep her occupied at dinner are a great idea.

Just been away with my one and three year olds.

Definitely take a “water wow” book, stacking cups (good for the bath and the beach too!) and some little animals. Favourite stuffy for sleeping.

The surprise hit of our trip was a set of silicone muffin cups. Food safe, very light and take up hardly any room. I wouldn’t rush out and buy them, but you might have a set knocking about in the back of a cupboard like we did.

Stacking beakers - multiple uses especially with sand and water.

Definitely stacking toys and sticker books.

I’d also let her spend some money on tat in souvenir shops - just a little at a time. It has the benefit of occupying her a little, and also giving some novelty item to play with that day.

Melissa and Doug reusable sticker pads are brilliant.
Beetoy buckle sensory pillow
