Does anybody use go pros to capture POVs of their children or for holidays with their family?

Does anybody use Go Pros to capture candid and pov videos of their kids? If not what do you use? My kids go shy when I hold my phone, I’d love to capture them how I do but not sure if a go pro is the right choice for what I want it for

We use it for ski holidays. But it took a fair amount of practice to get the camera angle right!

We have in the past. More to just have cameras on and videoing stuff when we were out and about. We just got super lazy about uploading it and tended to just fill a camera and a few cards and then buy the next model and fill that up. I should probably charge them all and actually look at the videos lol. We do have a brilliant video of DH taking the kids up Angel's Landing in Zion. With me waving from the second to last section. I knew my limits.
