Family holiday to France

Hi all, my dad wants to go on a family holiday in August next year for his 70th birthday. It will be for 6 adults and 3 children 11, 11 and 12. Ideally looking for something that is either half or full board and it has to have a pool. It would be lovely to have some form of evening entertainment etc. I’m really struggling to find anywhere and I would love any suggestions or recommendations please! Thank you ☺️

One of the family friendly hotels we’ve stayed at in France is Le Ricordeau https://www.hotel-ricordeau.fr/en/hotel.html# It’s got a pool and indoor and outdoor games for the kids, but no evening entertainment (at least, not when we went)

This hotel in Pays de la Loire is surrounded by green countryside. It is the perfect place to recharge your batteries.

We are looking for something similar (love France but not the cooking and cleaning that comes with self-catering!) and I have come across Belambra clubs which are half or full board. I am looking at the Alps but they also have them on the Riviera. I think there may be some entertainment in high season as well as kids clubs.

im also looking at Pierre et Vacances Residences. The premium ones offer breakfast delivery and also meal options to dine in the restaurant.

If anyone reading this has experience of either I would be grateful as I can’t decide between them!

Without being facetious (as I only found this recently!) have you tried filtering on booking.com? If you put in your chosen ares of france, then on the left hand side you can filter by “breakfast included “ “breakfast and dinner included” and “all inclusive”.

Also- out of our budget but maybe within yours- Club Med have all inclusive accommodation in France- again mainly South and Alps I think.
