Looking for ideas for the summer holidays for one week. Children are 18 and 16. They both enjoy caravan/lodge holidays. We’ve never done Dorset. Any recommendations where to stay please? TIA

Haven Weymouth Bay is a great caravan park. Love Poole , but wouldn’t recommend Haven Rockley Park as there’s too many caravans and the pool is small and it’s a bit run down.

Bowleaze Cove in Weymouth is a lovely caravan park. It’s more expensive than Haven, Parkdean etc but is so lovely and my mum said it’s spotless. There’s a club house, arcades (prob better for younger ones than yours though), indoor and outdoor pool, sports bar, funfair, beach (with a hut selling cocktails one day, gin the next) and you can get the bus into Weymouth right outside if you don’t have a car. Am sure my mum said they had archery as well, so there’s probably other activities on offer that they might enjoy.

Warmwell has fantastic facilities: all-weather ski slope, indoor pool with slide, roller rink, high ropes, zorbs, bike hire… Lulworth Cove is a short drive away.
