India / indigo/ airlines?

We’re planning to go to India with Indigo. Has anyone flown with them before? I’m a nervous traveller and have never heard of them.

I’ve flown a lot with them within India, but not internationally. They’re a major airline in India, I’ve never had any issues with them.

DH is a pilot and used to fly for them - it’s a no frills airline (much like the Indian equivalent of Ryanair) so don’t expect luxury but they’re very safe and reliable.

I flew all around India with them. Not fancy (think Ryan Air or Easy-Jet, but don't know what their international offerings are like) but safe and reputable.

Used them a lot when I lived in India, they are a Low Cost Carrier like Easy Jet etc. Fine to travel with but can be very strict with carry on.

Never had any major delays with them or any luggage problems.

It was fine- we did Dubai to Kerala and as Kerala is a dry state they were all boozing at 7am and buying duty free booze.
