Relaxing beach break in June? (just adults)

Hi all,

DH and I are looking to go away in June - it's been a really busy time at work so we're both exhausted. We would love to go on a relaxing beach break, but don't have the mental energy to do lots of research and are feeling overwhelmed by all the options. If anyone has any suggestions for hotels in Europe that would be great - we're looking for 4 or 5*, clean and modern, transfer no longer than an hour, excellent food, and a lovely beach. It doesn't need to be adults only, but we're not looking for a party resort, we just want to relax. Budget is max £2000 each for a week or so but we could push it further for the right place.

Hotel Beau Site in Antibes might suit? It's not all inclusive, but it's 10 mins bus or uber (both very easy to get) from the hotel to Antibes old town, or a 5 min walk to the beachfront where there are restaurants + cafes to choose from. It's a really nice, quiet hotel and adults only. Hôtel Beau Site - Cap d'Antibes, Antibes (updated prices 2025)
