September holiday - warm weather

Looking for ideas for somewhere warm to go first half of September. We have done Spain plenty. Ideally pool / beach holiday but open to ideas.

Sicily had lovely weather last October so would be even better in September. We found lots of lovely beaches around the north part.

Second vote for southern Italy - would add Campania and Puglia to the Sicily list!

I've done Cyprus, Greece and the Canaries in mid Sept and it's been lovely and warm still.

Kefalonia.

Southern Sardinia. Absolutely beautiful beaches.

I would also suggest Greece. One of the Ionian Islands. Depending where you are traveling from Corfu often has good/cheap flights. Paxos is really lovely but no airport, the ferry doesn't take that long from Corfu and as it doesn't have an airport it tends to be a bit quieter.

September is the perfect time to visit southern Italy. We always have to head home at the end of August; the following week the prices for sunbeds etc drop right down. I’ve swum in the sea in October (Puglia).
