vietnam hotel rooms for 3

Hi, I wondered if anyone can help - many of the hotels in vietnam I find on booking.com and similar say that for 3 people (2 adults and 1 14yr old) a room has '1 extra large double bed' and no mention of an extra bed. Is the expectation that all three of us share the bed? Or do they provide an extra bed?! There are some (but very few relatively!) that have triple rooms etc.

I don't think you'll get many responses here. Best to look on TripAdvisor for honest reviews.

In Vietnam we stayed in lots of 2 bed apartments within hotels/homestays which cost a little more but were excellent value for money and gave us loads of space.

We found the same in Dubai even when booking with 2 children and yes the expectation was to share. We found one that let us pay for an extra bed but they don't all.

We've found this too, best thing is to email the hotel directly and ask. They may be able to add a fold-out bed, although sometimes there's an extra charge for this.

Just book 2 rooms They are cheap enough
