September Holiday & Hotel recommendations - 2 year old

Looking for a 4/5* holiday in September this year 2-3 hours max flight time.

DS is 2, so looking for a family friendly hotel with lots to do for his age & on the beach location. Not too far from the airport

Sandy beaches only!

Any recommendations would be helpful!

Riu Chiclana in Chiclana de la Frontera | TUI.co.uk might suit? Lots to do for kids, lovely beach very nearby, nearest airport is Jerez.

We’ve recently returned from Insotel Cala Mandia in Majorca. The hotel has a fantastic on-site splash park (both outdoor and indoor splash park areas) and a playground for little ones. It’s right next to a sandy beach. Some of the ground floor rooms have enclosed gardens with loungers which work well for nap times etc although I would add that some of the rooms are a bit dated, however.

Royal Son Bou in Menorca is one of the most child-friendly hotels I’ve stayed at and it’s only 30 mins transfer.

Would Menorca be warm enough for swimming in September?

Yes, Menorca is generally warm enough for swimming in September. When we went, it was typically averaging around 26°C during the day, which is ideal.
