Can you recommend somewhere to go for DS's 2nd birthday. We live in Leigh on Sea in Essex so somewhere that's up to 2 hours drive would be ideal. He loves animals but we tend to go to farms etc quite regularly so I was looking for somehting a bit different. Considering Legoland/chessington but think he might be a bit young?

Can anyone recommend somewhere?

Paradise Park in Broxbourne is fantastic for younger ones. Not too much legwork and loads of animals and play equipment.

Coffee shop and indoor play area if raining! They can pet the animals and watch large bird show etc.

It's about a tenner to get in but you can use clubcard days out vouchers etc.

We go there loads and never get bored!! DS1 -5 DS2 -2

Wouldn't bother with Legoland or Chessington tbh - he won't appreciate it yet. Go somewhere you'll enjoy with a few things for him to do like a playground, boats, planes , animals etc.
