New York or Boston in November?

We have the opportunity to go for a long weekend late November/early December this year. Which would you choose and why? I’ve actually been to both, but many years ago, and not in the winter. I know both will be cold, but I’m thinking more on Christmas displays, things to do etc. Thank you ☺️

Well if you’re wanting “Christmas displays and things to do” the obvious choice is NYC!

Agree with PP about things to do in New York (although it's crazier).

For late November, watch your dates - Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 27. There will be a LOT of traffic on both ends of the long week-end and it's very much a family holiday.

Boston! Head up to the Cape for a night or two. Check out the cranberry harvest. Magical!

I’d choose Boston over NY at any time of the year.

I've just been to Boston. Found it pleasant but quite dull. Unless you're really into 18th-century American history ...

Boston definitely. Lovely at that time of year.

Boston is a bit dull
