Hi there!
We are taking the kids out of the UK for the first time ever in a few weeks. They live on a small island, have never been to a city and are real hillbillies!
My youngest is very busy and excitable and isn’t reliable for coming when called (he’s 6). We and the school are working on it ALL the time with him, but I think want to have some things in place to keep him safe.
we have bought a wrist strap which we have told him
he’ll have to wear if he runs away and through the airport. We’re going to be in a very busy and exciting place nothing like he’s been or seen before and it’s going to be total sensory overload, so I really want to have some way of reassuring myself that if he did get lost we’d have some support. We will
obviously take every procaution and talk to
him firmly about staying with us. I use a stick and possibly a wheel chair but my husband is able bodied and my 11 year old is very sensible. He also has life threatening food allergies but he can advocate for himself well if he were to be found and taken care of by staff etc.
has anyone used a GPS watch for kids? I’ve looked at air tags but they don’t seem to be a good idea?
thanks so much
