Do center parcs provide bike locks if hired bikes from them?

I did look on the FAQs and it says that they can be bought or hired, I would have thought they would provide bike locks if you have hired bikes?? I just want to know if I need to get some before our trip next week. I'm assuming they are expensive to buy/hire there?!

They do yes. They’re free. But the same key works in all of them so I don’t really see the point!

I hired one, locked it up and someone else took it. CP were fine about it & replaced the hired bike, so assume it a regular problem with the keys.
That said, in all the years I have been, it has only happened once.

The first time I went to Center Parcs, which was many years ago, I spoke to a colleague when I got back and mentioned hiring bikes. She said oh we didn’t bother hiring them there are loads lying around so we just took them!

Having said that we’ve never had ours taken but I can’t actually remember locking them.

That does seem silly! Thanks for the replies everyone. I've bought a bike lock for the pushchair incase we decide to use it, I think I might get one for the trailer too because that would be really annoying if it was pinched.

Having said the keys work in all the locks, we’ve never had a problem. However if you’re hiring a trailer I’d definitely take your own as that would be really annoying if someone took it!
