Croatia - can you buy Cow and Gate or Aptamil and Pampers?

Need to know whether to pack them! We're going to Dubrovnik.

Definitely can get Pampers (we got them at a little town about 45 mins from Dubrovnik). Not sure about the others.

Wherever you're going I would take the milk your baby's used to - but you'll be able to get nappies. They may not be pampers, but they'll be nappies! You don't want to be carrying mega packs of papmers all over Europe!

Remember to take enough to cope with massive delays and a day when you get there to find a shop.

Cow & Gate is a mainly UK brand I think. Not sure about Aptamil in Croatia but I know you can get it in Hungary which doesn't really help you a lot!

RE Pampers - available in Bulgaria and Hungary so am sure also in Croatia - if not another brand that I used with not problems is Librero.

I was worried about formula when I went to NZ recently. There's a helpline number on the tins - so I phoned this and a really lovely woman advised me as to what was the equivalent brand over there. (Though, being of a neurotic careful nature, I still packed a couple of tins!)

you can get aptmilk but not cow and gate. however there is a decent range of italian and croatian equivalents. Pampers available everywhere up to size 6

should add, these are the names of the supermarkets (it is not always obvious!):

The big supermarkets are near the big cities (i.e. close to the airport). There is another forum which is good for giving you all these sort of details (and you'll probably get a local who will give you exact directs): visitcroatia.proboards21.com
