Singapore and Malaysia - Itinerary?

Return flights booked to Singapore for late March. Yay! This will be our first long haul trip with kids (6 and 10). I’d appreciate some guidance and thoughts on the itinerary below:

5 nights Singapore
2 nights Melaka
2 nights KL
5 nights Langkawi (flight)
1 night airport hotel Singapore before flight home

Thanks in advance!

Why don’t you ask chat gbt? Post the response and see what people think?

Sorry op, I have 0 advice. But I'm planning a similar holiday. Are you more of a city/ resort or a bit of both kind of family? Is 2 days in kl enough time?

I think that sounds great, the only thing I’d say is 5 nights in Singapore may be a tiny bit too long but that’s only with being picky, I’d maybe do one night less and add that onto KL. Langkawi is amazing! Hire a car there if you can so you can really explore the island.

Personally I wouldn't bother with Melaka with kids, just do SG, KL and Langkawi. There's lots to see in and around KL.

I live in Malaysia - I’d drop the number of nights in Langkawi and Singapore , only do 1 in Melaka , do one night in Ipoh and 2 in Penang. If you do have time venture over to the east coast and do 2 nights on Kapas or Tioman.
