How does anyone overcome the guilt of leaving their children for 4nights?

I have my friends hen party - leaving tonight but back Saturday evening. I feel so guilty I keep crying I’m so hormonal (also 29w pregnant). I can’t bear to leave her please tell me this is normal???

how do I overcome it! I just want to bail

Toddler has a dad?

Tbh I wouldn't have done a 4 night hendo. 2 nights, yes, but longer is for family holiday here.
But being away the children were perfectly happy with their father.

Guilt is a completely wasted emotion. Either something is wrong and you shouldn’t do it, eliminating guilt, or it isn’t, and you shouldn’t feel it.

Think of it this way, you are giving her the gift of one-on-one time with her dad, to create their little team. They can have a fun time, create little traditions of their own, bond. I did with DH and DD and now she’s a teenager she has a lovely relationship with him.
