5 years of family holidays

It's occurred to me we've got maybe 5 years of family holidays before the kids start leaving home! Where shall we go?!

Where would anyone suggest for clear warm sea, snorkeling, and scenery and food?

Mauritius... beautiful beaches but enough to do around the island

We are heading to the Philippines for that very reason

@MonveloIf you can afford it - Galápagos Islands. DC loved it. Ecuador and rainforest too. Peru is amazing in August and also has rainforest. Both exceptional.

Other top hits were Kenya safari - beaches can be added on. August and wildebeast migration works well. Busy though. Sailing in BVIs. We had a skippered boat. Italy was popular - dd took up Italian at school. I would not tour the whole country! Choose a region and get to know it. We went skiing in Canada and Switzerland. Norway is very expensive. Iceland is great.

No Disney for dc - not interested. They liked Alaska and whales. Also South Africa - spotting rhinos! Lots to see. Never went as far as NZ but South America is amazing.

New Zealand is definitely on the list, husband is keen on Italy, trying to think of somewhere with warm and clear sea next!

Croatia is warm/hot with beautiful clear sea. Definitely worth a visit it's lovely. Slovenia also (lake bled and lake bohinj).
