Eurocamp or similar

Hi, can anyone advise which are the best eurocamps or similar, that are within easy reach of an airport, how do you get transport from the airport? which are the recommended ones with beach nearby and other things to do? Ideally not overly expensive flights.

I appreciate I maybe asking a lot but I’ve loads of adverts coming up now and the sheer volume of options is confusing me.

We really love Sandaya campsites and have stayed at a few different ones now. They they are mainly in France with a couple in Spain and other places. We have either gotten the ferry and driven to ones in Brittany or Normandy or flew and hired a csr drom the airport. We have never done a long drive though, always within an hour. All the ones we have stayed at have been lovely.

We've been to Holiday park EuroParcs Biggesee | Water experience | EuroParcs several times, It's a lot cheaper than eurocamp. The closest airport is Dortmund, flights are usually pretty reasonable so long as you don't book last minute, and then the park is an hours drive from the airport. We rent a car, as that way we can drive to nearby towns and cities too. There's a beach with direct access to the park, pool, kids water toys and a golf course, and you're a 20 min walk to the town of Attendorn which has various things to do along with restaurants, cafes etc.

Places we did without a car:

Union Lido (or Portofelice) - fly to Venice or Treviso and get a taxi or the bus. Massive park with loads going on. Day trip to Venice easy.

La Carabasse - Siblu - fly to Beziers and get a taxi, or Nimes/Montpellier and get train to Agde and a taxi. Eurocamp do Club Farret in the same place. Huge fun fair, minigolf, shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. Hire bikes to cycle along Canal du midi.

Both near / on the beach.

Not been personally - but Bella Italia is walking distance to station in Peschiera on Lake Garda. Train possible from Milan or Venice. I've stayed in Peschiera and next door Desenzano but never at the camp site. Boat trips on the Lake. Gardaland theme park. Waterpark.

We also stayed at Parc Albatross in Tuscany - we drove, but many people got a transfer from Pisa airport. Again a huge site with loads happening.
