Any one been to Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica?

We off here next week and just wondering if anyone has any feedback or advice about it. DP booked it when I was unwell so I didn’t really think about it at the time.

I went there on my honeymoon but it was 13 years ago. It was a nice hotel, we got a lovely fruit basket and t shirts and the mini bar was stocked up regularly. The food was really good and we went on loads of trips. I think it’s been done up recently, the pool was lovely as well. I’m sure you will have a fab time!

@way2serious I always find a holiday is what you make it, I’ve stayed at hotels with really bad reviews and had a fab time and also the other way about. I would say to take extra high factor sun cream with you cause it’s extremely expensive in the resort and we used way more than I thought we would… and I always take extra anyway 🤦‍♀️ and also expect to be offered drugs, it’s not my thing but I just said no thanks and it was fine.

We were there about a decade ago and it was fabulous but I had looked at reviews recently and there has been a decline or so it seems. Staff were so lively but even then there were some very entitled and rude guests.
greta location, safe bay to swim in and lovely bewcehs. The food was amazing when we were there and I recall a woman walking into breakfast and being asked to leave - she was in a bikini! So it was nice back then. It’s big enough to go. To different areas and relax and enjoy.

Thanks @cherrybobbins @Ohyoudodoyou . Yes will be packing lots of factor 50. Have the Caribbean a few times just not Jamaica. I have stayed in some fab hotels in the past and seen some negative reviews about them so only like to use yhe
as a guide. Have some people have some very unreasonable expectations!
