Croatia - heated pool needed?

We're looking to go on last minute trip to Croatia in early June. A lot of places don't specify if the outdoor pool is heated, so I assume it's not.

Are they generally too cold at that time of year with no heating? We will be 30 mins drive at least from the coast so would like to swim at a villa as well as a few beach days. Will have dc with us so need it to be not too cold.

Many thanks for any advice.

When I went to Croati in early June it was absolutely hot enough to go in the unheated outdoor pool. We did get a few days with rain/more overcast but even then temperatures stayed 20 degrees plus.

Ah thanks. Would it matter if north or south? We're looking at near Pula.

Bit worried as temps look low 20s, so nice enough but not hot. We went to Ibiza a few years ago when it was that temp, and the villa pool was freezing - beautiful to look at but too cold to get in!

It depends how hardy you are. Also how big the pool is as smaller ones heat up quicker.

We went to Crete at that time and whilst the weather was gorgeous, mid 20s plus, the (large, deep) pool was freezing and nobody stayed in more than a couple of minutes. Perfectly nice for a refreshing dip but not for swimming.

Look closely as some private pools can be heated for extra £?

Thanks. Dc are not hardy at all so we might play safe with heated!

I'd definitely want a heated pool! If it's deep it takes ages to heat up even in warm weather. We went to Krk Island and wished the pool was heated in July.
