Mallorca hotel recommendations

Hello, I was after some hotel recommendations for Pollenca town in Mallorca; with a decent-sized swimming pool, suitable for 2 very elderly parents who don’t want to fly too far, but want to swim and potter gently about a nice town with a good selection of restaurants. I thought Pollenca would fit the bit, but hotels in other Mallorca suggestions also gratefully received; thank you.

Do you mean the old in-land town, or the one by the sea with the pine walk?

The inland town, I was thinking, although the beach is nice too

Illa d’Or (Puerto Pollensa)

Es Moli (Deia)

My parents love both of these- small, lovely but not flashy.

Thank you, they both look exactly like the kind of thing I was after.

The Illa D’Or is just heaven on earth

The Es Moli runs a little bus (I think hourly) to their private gated cove with a cafe bar set amongst the pine trees.

It is a stone’s throw from this lovely restaurant which seemed full of Mallorcans rather than tourists when we visited. The hotel bus dropped us off at the door.

It reminds me of a god setting for an Agatha. Christie novel.
You are making me want to pop over there for a long weekend now!

Bens D'Avall is a fine dining place - the tasting menu plus wine pairings is €270 per person. While there won't be many people there in football shirts, I suspect there also aren't a lot of Majorcans who pop out to spend a week's household income on dinner for two!

For the OP: Finding a large pool in Pollensa town might be a challenge because it's an older town with small streets. You could also look at Portocolom or Sant Elm, both by the sea but very quiet and suitable for pottering. If your parents are there in, say, September the sea will also be nice for swimming (Portocolom harbour is flat as a pancake most of the time).

Thanks all, super helpful!

Mar senses is where we visited and it was a lovely adults only hotel.
