Why are travel companies not including luggage anymore?!

Why is it every time I go to look for a flight, esp long haul, the airline expects me to add on 23kg luggage?! It’s crazy?!

when did it all change and start doing this?

..costing through the roof with two babies and dh to get anywhere atm!

So many now use budget airlines where it’s an extra

I usually add the luggage on when I start searching so it’s not a shock at the end

we always used to take too much though - paying for luggage concentrates your mind more!

Now we travel hand luggage only quite often. Buying some stuff there and leaving it is sometimes cheaper than paying for a case

Usually depends if you are booking a package holiday or flight only.
Not everyone needs luggage so works well for some people.
