Has anyone been recently? We can stay at a friends place for just cleaning and bills cost. It’s expensive to get to and food looks a lot but we could probably cook in to save money.

It is gorgeous. Upmarket but expensive.

Expensive! Imagine holidaying in central London expensive.

It is lovely though & has a real feel of a bygone era. If I had free accommodation, I’d be there in a heartbeat!

It is stunning - if you can escape the cruise ship hordes, it feels like a semi-tropical version of the channel islands. Beautiful, British, and refined.

It is not cheap but we go every few years as a bit of warm weather in late May.
