Are the Channel Islands worth the cost of visiting?

Looking at going there and anything nice is £200 a night. Flights about £200. Is it worth visiting?

Define 'worth visiting'. My DH has just come back from a week's walking holiday on Jersey. He loved it.

jersey is lovely and worth a trip. I wouldn’t pay £200 for flights though I’d look ahead to next year instead and book flights when they become available and should be much cheaper
if you live near the south coast it’s worth looking at the ferry.

Only on the off chance of bumping into Henry Cavill!
