Hi all.

We are planning on going on a week or two holiday to Mallorca with our toddler next year who will be two by then. We previously stayed in Cala D’Or at an adults on hotel before our DS was born and loved every part of that holiday.

Obviously now we’d need something more suitable for him and just looking for some recommendations please on where to stay etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

TIA

It wasn’t the inturotel Cala Esmerelda was it? We’ve since moved down the road to ikos Porto petro - we’ll be going in June for the 3rd year in a row, first took DS at 11 months.

We liked Viva Cala Mesquida. Th transfer was a bit longer than we would have ideally liked, but it wasn’t Brits abroad and the beach was gorgeous so it was worth it. The hotel has roomy apartments with the kids in a separate sleeping area. Walking distance to cafes and shops, and a splash pool aimed at young children.

Cala Galdana.. we stayed here in September 2023 with our 8 month old at the time for 9 nights... https://www.minurahotels.com/hotel-cala-galdana/ Try and get a room up high at the front for the sea views, they are really impressive. Really close to the local resort shops, mini supermarkets and cove beach with a few beach bars and some beach shops.. Nice clean playground 2 minute walk from hotel too.

Sorry the link isn't live or working but it is correct if you manually type it in or Google this hotel.. Minura Hotel Cala Galdana

Sorry to be the person that ignores the location you have stated, but I can't recommend Royal Son Bou hotel MENorca enough for toddlers if you're willing to consider. The kids club is amazing (and you can just treat it like a park and go with them) and mealtimes were so family friendly. Worth a Google.

The top (north) corner of the beach at Alcudia is amazing with small children. There are no waves because the bay curls right around it and you can walk out a long way with the water getting 2cm deeper per metre that you walk. I don't have a hotel to recommend but it's the best beach for toddlers I've ever seen.
