Camping south of France best parts for families

Heading to south of France end of August there’s so many destinations anyone have any that they would recommend thinking south as I want the sunshine thank you

Well the south is a very large area. Do you mean the med coast? Dordogne? Atlantic coast? Beachy holiday? There are loads of amazing places, so if you try to narrow down what you are looking for that might help :)

We’ve gone south west near Biarritz - coastal so slightly easier to cope with extreme summer heat.

lovely long sandy beaches and we love the powerful waves for body boarding / surfing.

Close enough to Spain for some day trips.

We've stayed near Sète which is beautiful. Loads of lovely beaches, places like Carcassonne are close enough for a day trip.

I’ve always liked the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, especially the Verdon gorge. There are lots of campsites close to the river.

My geography is terrible 🤣 sunshine beaches and stuff to do for kiddiewinks

We used to take the kids to south West france. It was perfect. Loads to do and within easy reach of Spain for day trips.
