That's the one in Moscow with ManU and Chelsea.

My husband has just phoned me and asked me to try and get it sold (not his unfortunately!!) for his friend who can't now go - but with such a short time left I have no idea how to go about it and I thought someone here might have an idea,

Thanks

to someone you know for cash?????

One day listing on ebay, cash on collectioin only.

ninja · 18/05/2008 18:13

Yes I womdered about e-bay, but I'm a posting virgin so a little afraid - but cash on collection is a great idea. It makes the short time not an issue. I just have to find out if there's anything I need to say about it (all I know is that it's almost certainly in the ManU end). Why do I get the dirty work and he gets a VERY expensive trip to moscow next week grrrrrrrrr

YOu could only do it if you have the ticket in your possession - you need a photo of it.

Thanks - he should be home from the cinema soon and I'm assuming that he has it.

You are not allowed to sell football tickets on ebay.

The listing will be removed as soon as they notice it.

CarGirl · 18/05/2008 18:32

shame!!!! Get down the pub asking if anyone wants it?

ChippyMinton · 18/05/2008 18:36

Is your DH going to the match himself? Could he not sell it in Moscow?

DH couldn't go to a match once and his friends sold his ticket to a bloke in a bar before the game.

Blondilocks · 18/05/2008 18:41

I'd be tempted if I didn't have exams next week.

Umm does he have any other friends who'd go? Or try in the pub or something?

Other than that when he gets there? Although be careful as I think they clamp down on people doing that.

Are there any websites where you can talk about football where you could mention it?

I'd be jolly careful. The requirement for a visa into Russia is bound up with the match ticket i.e. instead of having to issue 50,000 visas, the Russain authorities are accepting th eticket as a visa. If it comes from Man U, there should be a name on the ticket, which means the passport etc should be consistent. >.

It is a prime example of buyer beware, excpet here it could end up with a sentence in a Gulag.

I wondered why I couldn't see any on there just now - thanks Malovitt saved me the time and effort of putting it on.

Are you sure you don't want to miss your exams Blondilocks
