Hi,

I have left holiday planning late this year but looking to go away on a beach holiday somewhere in Europe in June with my 3 yo daughter.

Looking for somewhere that isn't scorching hot and doesn't require a car so has some restaurants nearby. Would be ideal if there is also a decent sized town walkable but not essential.

Any suggestions appreciated!

Thanks

I would go somewhere like Tossa in northern Spain - lovely attractive little town, Spanish style vibe - big enough to be pleasant, small enough to get around easy with a young child - nice beach, cove type setting - and quite cheap!! won’t need a car - fly to Girona- cab or bus to resort - lots of choices for all budgets including aparthotels so you get a bit more space.

I would also suggest Paguera in Majorca- not usually mega hot in June - lovely beach, decent town , no car needed, great bus all along the coast to Palma - lots of choice again at all levels - short transfer from airport ( 25 minutes) much loved the Germans -

my other choice would be Cala Blanca in Menorca- attractive low rise small resort - no car needed - fly to ciutedella for a very quick transfer

We had a really good stay in San Sebastián with young dc. It has a couple of large sandy beaches, an aquarium, quaint little amusement park and plenty of playgrounds, cafes and restaurants.
