Hi, can you recommend any places to stay in Brighton with tweens? Or areas to avoid. Thanks

Airbnb/booking.com houses or apartments are ideal. There’s some around Regency square. If residential area I liked Hanover. Tweens love The Lanes and pier. If you get chance have a nice lunch on the Marina with a view - need to drive there, not walkable from Centre

We had an airbnb at the Marina which dd wanted to move into. Surrounded by bars and restaurants and cinema, bowling, indoor mini-golf. 15 mins on the bus (frequent) into town. It came with a parking space which was much appreciated. DH sulked the whole time as we had been meant to go to Italy but flights were cancelled. Dd had a brilliant time. We visited the pier and did that terrifying tower thing on the seafront.

Check on car parking at hotel etc - very expensive in public car parks.

Even the Premier Inn is decent and in a good central location. Some of the hotels in Brighton are extortionate!

How long? Self catering or eating out? Are you driving?

We found the main premier inn (city centre, north street) to be perfectly located. It's pig ugly but very easy to walk to anywhere you want to go.

Just a long 3 day weekend

If the Leonardo Waterfront isn’t too expensive for your dates (it seems to vary a lot), I’d go for that over the Premier Inn simply as it has a pool.

What’s your budget

we always stay in The Grand Hotel

Hi CarftyNavySeal.

Just a long 3 day weekend

Hello - did you find anything? anything you can recommend please? I am looking for somewhere in the summer or maybe May half term but cannot believe how expensive! Maybe I should try somewhere further along the coast and just have a daytrip to B & H instead. Hope you had fun!
