Where would anybody recommend for October half term for a week?

Here’s our criteria:

  1. warm enough to sunbathe and lounge about
  2. warm pools
  3. All inclusive
  4. 3yr old friendly
  5. “luxury”
  6. within reason, money not an issue

Do you have a specific resort or hotel you could recommend? Websites are a minefield 🤦🏻‍♀️

The south of Tenerife will get up to about 26 at that time of year. Roca Nivaria would be perfect as all the pools are heated and it’s one of the few hotels that has childcare and activities for children under 4.

OP, if you’re looking for a particular recommendation I have stayed here and it was absolutely fabulous, could not recommend it enough.

The Canaries are the nearest place that will meet those criteria. Or the Red Sea. The Mediterranean will not give you guaranteed warm pools in late October, unless the hotel has a heated pool (which always feels a bit like cheating to me).

If you look at Riviera Maya they are all lovely but with families have a look at Dreams Sapphire or family selection at the grand palladium kantenah.

I should have been a travel agent in another lifetime I love finding holidays for people!
