Is there such a thing as good single/solo parent holidays?

Im looking for this summer for me and my 8yr old.

Beach. Hot. Luxury. Ideally with others on their own too.

Here for answers too. My DS is 10 and I’m struggling to think of where to go where he can meet similar peers so he’s not bored.

A cruise can be very sociable with table sharing and solo meet ups- I’ve met lots of people over the years - great kids clubs too. Although I appreciate cruises can be a bit marmite

I'm not a single parent but have slways travelled abroad alone with my ds since he was 4 as dh not keen on flying.

We've had so e amazing hols and he's always made friends. He's 16 now so things are different but I'd 100 percent recommend you go.

Of course it depends on your budget etc but tui have some great family hotels with clubs where your dc will make friends and great prices and discounts for solo parents.

Apart from tui hotels
We loved the Sheraton in fuerteventura And the roca nivaria or Iberostar selection anthelia in tenerufe.

Mexico has a great selection too. Too many to recommend. Further afield Thailand and bali great destinations.
