Things to do with teenager

Can someone recommend an activity to do with a teenager in Manchester City centre that doesn’t involve football or museums please?
we are staying near Piccadilly station and don’t have a car.

Sorry I should have said we aren’t going shopping. Recently updated his wardrobe. Yes Liverpool great but unfortunately we are tied to Manchester

Salford Quays and a boat trip from there? See the BBC things, Blue Peter Garden. Coronation St tour?

Manchester has a cube (the tv show) where you can do all the games?

Are you there for an evening? I took my teens there about 6 months ago and we went to see a comedy show at the Frog and Bucket. It was brilliant and we all really enjoyed it

Another vote for Liverpool as loads of free stuff, but if Tied to Manchester what are they interested in?
