I’m looking at booking AI in Mexico, 2 adults, 1 teen.
we want swimming, water park, teen activities/ playground where older kids can hang/play.

neither of us drink alcohol and 2 autistic (so limited food options)

am I mad? DP wants everyone to have a holiday (so I don’t have to cook)
but we’ve never been to Mexico,

im concerned if AI is right for us

have never done AI, usually self catering cos of sensory eating but want to be safe on holiday and do want to go somewhere new.

its a big spend so want to get it right

sny suggestions?

The buffet element of AI is usually great for sensory food issues. My DS had a phase of not liking food in sauce, so could load up on dry rice, roast chicken, salad and bread at the buffet, while the rest of us got the opportunity to have more adventurous food that we couldn’t normally eat much of at home.

I’d see if you can go full board rather than AI, if that’s an option. AI usually includes booze and that price is factored in. Some resorts do full board with includes all food but not drinks, might be better value for you.

just go AI it’s easier

you don’t need to drink your body weight in booze every day to feel like you’re getting your moneys worth soft drinks and snacks are all part of it

Unlimited ice cream. Enough said!

Thanks, I will look at full board options as well.
appreciate the feedback.
