Euro camp flying from Glasgow/Edinburgh

Hello 👋,
Looking at options for Euro camp and looking for Euro camps near airports that we can get direct flights from Glasgow/Edinburgh. We fancy France but open to all. If anyone fancies commenting on their experience of Euro camp as a family of 4 with young primary school kids , this would also be helpful. Thanks in advance 👍

We did Eurocamp for years when ours were small- love it! In fact we still go to the campsites now but have upgraded accommodation to the site owned hotel/bungalows as the 6 foot something teenager needs a proper sized bed!

Would you be planning to hire a car? The French sites are fab- we’ve been to a few, but a car to get to the big supermarkets would be almost essential.

Some of the big Italian sites have everything on site so no need for a car. We did Union Lido near Venice for years, the site organised a private transfer (or you can get the bus). Everything on site there, reasonably priced and public transport on tap to go to tourist attractions nearby.

We did Duinrell in the Netherlands from Glasgow a few years ago. EasyJet flight to Amsterdam and then it was quite straightforward to get public transport to the site. Great park with loads to do but also lots to do in the surrounding area.

Not sure if from your airports but we did Lake Garda fly to Verona and there are a few near an easy train station called Persiera (sp) and some near Barcelona…. Or even Beziers if you get a flight to it in france With kids that age and were brilliant. We did those without hiring a car either.
