Please excuse my ignorance but do i need euro's to go to belfast?

going away for the weekend and some people telling me i dont need euros, some telling me i do. who is right?

Pretty sure it still Irish pounds in Northern Ireland,is definitely Euros in Southern Ireland.

Sterling, not Irish pounds, as it's part of the UK though they do have their own banknotes (like Scotland) but I'm sure they will accept what you bring from here.

Sterling in Northern Ireland. Yes they do have their own notes but you can use Bank of England notes there too. Try not to take their notes back to England though as shops tend not to like accepting them

thanks, i live in scotland so i presume there will be no problem with them accepting our scottish notes (ive had problems in the past with english shops not wanting to accept scottish notes)
