I have zero idea what a 'familymoon' is as opposed to a holiday.
But you need to give us some more ideas of things like

  • budget
  • flight time
  • temperature
  • catered or self catered
  • all inclusive or not
  • what area you like best

wtf is a family moon? You want a family holiday?

AdeptBalonz · 25/04/2025 13:59

its a version of a honeymoon as I’m getting married but with a child, so ideally a nice location but is suitable for a 5 month old and opinion's on long haul flights

What about an all inclusive in the Canaries or Cape Verde? Lovely weather, not too hot, plenty to see and do.

How do you know you’ll have a 5 month old baby? I’m guessing you’re pregnant? Congratulations! I went to Zakynthos when my baby boy was 5 months old. The Greek people were so lovely and sweet with him, giving him lots of cuddles and tastes of different foods.

Jeez some people haven't been very helpful. Who hasn't heard of a family moon in 2025 😂 We got married abroad last week and our little boy is 10 months old. We brought him to Spain at 4 months and it was SO easy!! He slept on the flight and had a bottle and was so good when we were away. It was warm so he slept a lot.
I got the Zummi Eden stroller to bring with us and it was fantastic, we used it again last week and can't fault it. You are allowed to bring as much baby food on board the plane as you want too which is great.
I was actually looking up family moon ideas when I came across your post. We have been thinking Thailand or keep is easy and just stick with Europe (Greece or Italy) my partners sister brought two small kids to Thailand and they had a great time. We've done it without a baby and it is definitely doable with a baby.
They are great at 5 months, you will have a fantastic trip away with your family!!

As if ‘babymoon’ wasn’t nauseating enough, we have ‘familymoon’, ffs.

It’s just a holiday.

We took our baby to Bermuda when he was 6 months. We rented a villa with a pool which made it easy and n the evenings. We flew to Miami first to see friends and it’s just a short flight down from there.
