Is Disney Paris going to be carnage at May half term?

Just that really! Have decided on a whim to take DC age 10. It’ll just be the two of us. Obviously I’ve left it very late to book. Will the queues be unbearable? Any tricks to getting a good deal? What hotels are worth staying at? We’ve been to Disney Florida so know the drill there but not sure how much Paris differs.

May half term can be hit and miss for how busy it is, it depends if the French and Spanish school holidays fall at the same time. If you’ve been to Florida it won’t be unbearable though, you’re used to queueing!

As for hotels, if you want to be on Disney property then the cheapest is going to be Santa Fe (cars themed) or Cheyenne (Woody and Jesse themed) both are about a 20 min walk to the park or you’ve got the shuttle that’s less than 10 mins.

if your driving a lot of people stay at Les Villages Nature Paris as it’s less than 20 mins drive to the park and has its own water park and pools etc. (bit like a centre parcs type of deal)

Having been a few times now, it seems to be carnage all the time (unless it’s raining when everyone seems to disappear). It’s lovely, but I’m not convinced the time of year affects much
