Help! Holiday with a baby.

Hi everyone, looking to book a holiday however it's our first holiday with a baby and have some questions if anyone can help? :-)

Prams / Strollers -
I assume we can take our own , it doesn't fold up particularly small so would we need to pay for it as luggage ? Or just get a cheap one that folds down small enough?

Lastly was car seat and travelling just to and from the hotel.

Do they provide car seats abroad in the transfers? we were thinking just Spain etc.. or again do we need to take our own ?

We probably won't be doing much driving just from the airport to the hotel and vice versa.

Hi! We took our little girl away when she was around 8 months.
depending who you are flying with; babies usually get an allowance for something.. for example a pram or a travel cot. Just check the airlines website. We however bought a cheap fold down one that meant we could take it right to the plane door with us (god send) I’d also suggest a sling for the other end as you don’t always get your pram back as soon as you get off.
we went to Spain, with jet2 - it is not law there that a baby needs a car seat if it’s a bus transfer, she just sat on our knee with the seatbelt around us both. However I’m not sure the rules around a private transfer. You’d likely have to pay for the car seat as if the child is under a certain age they get no baggage allowance or seat (again, airline dependant)

You usually get 2 extra pieces for the hold and then an extra small bag for onboard. The 2 extra pieces could be 1 pram if it goes in 2 parts. We bought a cheap fold down buggy for holiday. If you do the same then the car seat can count as ur second piece.
We usually booked a private transfer that came with car seats but the bus you get nothing to put baby in they just sit on your lap.
