Hi going to Copenhagen for 5 days with two teen boys 17 and 19, this is a short city break but as we have never been to Copenhagen. before I'm looking for advice on the best or reasonable areas to stay in or sightseeing

Just given this a bump.

I don't know the answer @legogal1 , but am always interested in finding new places to go, so hopefully someone will come along with some ideas. Smile

@legogal1 I don’t have teenage boys so it’s a stab in the dark. We stayed in Vesterbro. Lots of restaurants in the Meatpacking district but there’s a drug house there too. I liked the Design museum, Christiansborg slot, a river/canal trip, Carlsberg Glyptotek, the modern art museum and The David Collection. However I’m not 17! We also went to Lund in Sweden for the day. I would try and work out what they like and go with that. It’s easy to get around and we had a station nearby. We stayed at the Anderson hotel. There are cheaper places to stay but it was comfortable and well maintained.

We were there recently and stayed in Nyhavn, right on the canal. It was a great location but if you are on a tight budget then maybe look at the Wakeup Copenhagen hotel which is not too far from there - my daughter stayed there previously.

The city centre is compact so you can walk everywhere
