Going to stay in Paris for a week with my son who is nearly 7. Friends also coming with us but we're doing our own thing (we've always done this and it works for us :)). Can anyone recommend things I should do? Going to do the Louvre and Eiffel tower, and two days of Disney. Any other recommendations? Doesn't all have to br geared towards kids as my son will be happy doing anything!

Thanks :)

https://www.musee-rodin.fr/. The inside exhibition is a bit samey after a while - he was quite prolific. Outside, the gardens are wonderful.

If you can stomach it, the Musee du Chasse / Museum of the Hunt, is suitably gory to keep young ones entertained, in a Horrible Histories manner. Also the rat poison shop was a favourite when mi w was younger - it’s the one featured in Ratatouille.

Also here - stunning interior, rooftop terrace with views over Paris and a great restaurant up there with a few outside tables.

Somewhere in Monmartre is a shopping arcade with fabulous vintage-selling shops.
