What to wear in Hong Kong

im heading to Hong Kong and I’m not sure what to wear. I know it will be warm with very high humidity so thinking linen. My DH thinks shorts and t shirts will be all I need from day to night but I feel like I need to take some dressy dresses - has anyone been recently and can give me an idea of what clothes to take.
we are planning hikes/ noodles / dim sum / trecking to the beaches / some nicer evening meals staying in a nice 4/5 star hotel.
Does anyone get ‘dressed up’ on an evening or is it a more laid back ‘London’ vibe

plus any must see recommendations if you have any. Thanks in advance

I'm a few years out of date but used to live there and it's definitely a get dressed up in the evening, groomed hair and nails place. Not as individual or laid back as London but tbh it's not really pub culture but lovely restaurants and fancy bars. Linen perfect for day. You'll need good hiking shoes, the trails are a good workout.
